EIREX has spent over 23 years engineering hydrodynamic cavitation. That work now drives a different kind of hydrogen process: one that co-produces hydrogen and hydrogen peroxide from water, on-site.
The Opportunity
Two products from one feedstock.
- 2 H2O → H2 + H2O2: roughly 17 kg of hydrogen peroxide accompany every kg of hydrogen
- Hydrogen peroxide is a valuable industrial chemical used in electronics, water treatment, pulp and paper, and chemical synthesis
- Modular designs from 50 to 5,000 kg/hr, produced where it is used, water-flexible including seawater
The Problem
Most green hydrogen routes make a single product, so every project has to compete on hydrogen price alone. That has kept many of them from reaching commercial economics.
Our Solution
EIREX uses hydrodynamic cavitation, a mechanical and non-electrolytic route. Intense cavitation collapse creates the local conditions that break water’s molecular bonds, and a proprietary reactor geometry with an electric field separates hydrogen from hydrogen peroxide. The underlying chemistry is documented in the peer-reviewed sonochemistry literature. Our contribution is the reactor. No membranes. No electrolytes. Runs on water of varying quality, including seawater.
Why This Matters Now
Aerospace, maritime, and heavy industry are locking in hydrogen supply chains today. Distributed producers that make hydrogen where it is used, with a second revenue stream from the co-product, are well placed to shape those supply chains.

- 23+ years of cavitation R&D by our founding team, across four prototypes
- Hydrogen and peroxide unit at pilot stage, being instrumented to measure yield, energy balance, and peroxide purity with third-party validation
- Patents held in oil viscosity reduction and related industrial applications
